Sea Tribe Diving School offers first aid courses from DAN Europe (Divers Alert Network Europe), a leading global organization for the high quality of its programs, developed based on scientific evidence and updated according to the latest international guidelines.

DAN Europe courses play a fundamental role in preventing and managing emergencies, both in diving and in everyday life. Through specific training programs, participants acquire essential skills to intervene quickly and effectively in critical situations, such as cardiac arrest, accidents, and life-threatening conditions.

DAN Europe training not only improves personal safety, but helps create greater awareness and responsibility, making each individual an active link in the rescue chain.

The DAN Europe courses we offer

BLSD / PBLSD

The BLSD (Basic Life Support & Defibrillation) and PBLSD (Paediatric Basic Life Support & Defibrillation) courses are essential training programs for learning how to respond in the event of sudden cardiac arrest and other life-threatening emergencies.

BLSD Course: Adult AED Rescue

The BLSD course teaches cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques for adult patients and the proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). During the training, participants learn how to quickly recognize a cardiac arrest and intervene with effective and timely maneuvers.

PBLSD Course: Pediatric First Aid with AED

The PBLSD course integrates BLSD training with specific skills for pediatric rescue. It is designed to manage cardiac arrest in children over one year of age, using adapted resuscitation techniques and defibrillator (AED) support.

Fundamental training for acting quickly and effectively and increasing the chances of survival in an emergency.

BLS / PBLS

The DAN Basic Life Support (BLS) and DAN Paediatric Basic Life Support (PBLS) courses, developed by DAN Europe, provide the essential skills to respond in life-threatening emergencies.

The BLS course teaches basic life support maneuvers to assist an adult in the event of cardiac arrest or critical situations.

The PBLS course integrates training with specific techniques for pediatric rescue, including the management of cardiac arrest and foreign body choking in children.

First Aid

The DAN First Aid course is designed for students who already have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and wish to learn first aid techniques for victims of injuries or illnesses that do not directly threaten the victim's survival.

Oxygen First Aid for Diving Emergencies

The DAN Oxygen First Aid for Diving Emergencies course is designed to teach divers and non-divers (for example the Captain of a diving vessel) to recognize the signs and symptoms of diving illness and to provide oxygen first aid in the event of diving-related accidents.

Advanced Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries

The DAN Advanced Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries course is designed for those who have already successfully completed the DAN Oxygen First Aid for Diving Emergencies course. It is designed to train DAN Oxygen Providers to use a positive pressure regulator (such as the MTV100) and a self-inflating bag valve mask (BVM).

On-Site Neurological Assessment for divers

The DAN On-Site Neurological Assessment for Divers course is an advanced training program designed for DAN Oxygen Providers who wish to learn how to perform a basic neurological assessment on a potentially injured diver.

Hazardous Marine Life Injuries

The DAN First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries course is designed to provide divers (and interested non-divers) with the tools to identify dangerous marine life, avoid potential injuries from them, and be prepared to provide necessary first aid.

Oxygen First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies

The DAN Oxygen First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies course is designed to teach you how to provide emergency oxygen first aid in aquatic incidents not related to scuba diving.
